American rock band The Flaming Lips comes from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, the USA and it was formed in 1983. The current band members are Wayne Coyne (lead vocals, keyboards, theremin, bass,guitar), Michael Ivins (bass, keyboards, backing vocals), Steven Drozd (guitar, drums, percussion, keyboards, bass, backing vocals) and of Kliph Scurlock (drums, percussion). The breakthrough to the mainstream success happened only in 2002 with a released of their tenth album Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots.
