Skinny Puppy is a Canadian post-industrial, electro-Industrial, electronica and industrial rock band from Vancouver, that was formed in 1982 by cEvin Key (born Kevin Crompton). The band's current line-up consists of cEvin Key, Nivek Ogre, Mark Walk and Justin Bennett. In 1992, they released their breakthrough album, Last Rights, which yielded the band's first hit singles including "Love In Vein", "Killing Game", "Knowhere?", "Mirror Saw" and "Inquisition". In 1996, they released their most successful album, The Process, which reached number 1 on the Top Heatseekers Albums Chart and number 102 on the Billboard 200 Albums Chart. It also spawned the band's best known hit single, "Candle", which peaked at number 35 on the Billboard Singles Chart.
