American metal band Sevendust was formed in Atlanta, Georgia, the United States in 1992. The band comprises Lajon Witherspoon (lead vocals), John Connolly (rhythm guitar, backing vocals), Clint Lowery (lead guitar, backing vocals), Vincent Hornsby (bass), Morgan Rose (drums, backing vocals). The band’s style can be classified as nu metal, hard rock and alternative metal. The band’s history began when the band was titled “Crawlspace”. For the unknown reasons the name of the band was changed for Sevendust and the debut self-titled album was released in 1997. The follow up album Home became somewhat a breakthrough and the band was invited to play at the Woodstock 1999 where they shared the stage with Korn, Limp Bizkit, Metallica and Disturbed.
