Blur are Damon Albarn, Graham Coxon, Alex James and Dave Rowntree. They are an English alternative rock band from London formed in 1988. Their most famous hit is Beetlebum, which gave the group real commercial success, headlining the UK chart. It was also a breakthrough to the USA market. Before this success the group had been playing Britpop and had been noticed by such songs as She's So High, Parklife, Chemical World. Their recent activity turned into the headlining the Glastonbury Festival on 28 June, 2009. The Guardian called them "the best Glastonbury headliners in an age".
