3 Doors Down is an American alternative rock and hard rock band that was formed in 1994 by Brad Arnold (vocals and drums), Matt Roberts (guitar), and Todd Harrell (bass), and currently comprises Brad Arnold, Matt Roberts, Todd Harrell, Chris Henderson and Greg Upchurch. The band achieved mainstream success with the breakthrough first album, The Better Life, which produced four singles, "Kryptonite", "Loser", "Duck and Run" and "Be Like That". The first single, "Kryptonite", was successful on the Billboard Alternative Songs chart, staying at number one for eleven consecutive weeks. The second single, "Loser", also reached number 1 on the Billboard U.S. Mainstream Rock chart. An alternate version of "Be Like That" was made, for American Pie 2.
