Scorpions are a German heavy metal and hard rock band that was formed in 1965 by Rudolf Schenker, Michael Schenker and Klaus Meine, and currently the band consists of Klaus Meine (lead vocals, rhythm guitar, percussion, tambourine, backing vocals), Matthias Jabs (lead & rhythm guitars), Rudolf Schenker (rhythm & lead guitars, backing vocals), Pawel Maciwoda (bass, backing vocals) and James Kottak (drums, percussion, backing vocals). They achieved mainstream success with their breakthrough album, Love at First Sting (1984), which spawned several singles such as "Rock You Like a Hurricane", "Big City Nights" and "Big City Nights". Love at First Sting became the most successful album of the band in the USA and it also went triple platinum.
