American punk rock band The Offspring from Huntington Beach, California was formed in 1984. The band’s current members are Dexter Holland (lead vocals, rhythm guitar, piano), Noodles (lead guitar, backing vocals), Greg K. (bass, backing vocals) and Pete Parada (drums, percussion). The group rose to fame in 1994 with their hit singles "Come Out and Play", "Self Esteem" and "Gotta Get Away" which featured critically acclaimed album Smash. The album went to 6 x Platinum in the USA and in Canada and 4 x Platinum in Australia. The next very successful band’s release happened in 1998. The album Americana topped the charts in many European countries and was very popular in the States, Canada and Australia. The hit singles of that time were "Pretty Fly (for a White Guy)", "Why Don't You Get a Job?" and "The Kids Aren't Alright".
