Garbage is an American rock group which was formed in Madison, Wisconsin, US, in 1994. The band consists of Scottish lead singer Shirley Manson and of American musicians Duke Erikson, Steve Marker and Butch Vig. The group rose to fame releasing their debut album Garbage (1995) which produced such smashing hits as Stupid Girl, Queer and Only Happy When It Rains. Their next album Version 2.0. was also positively met and continued group’s success, spawning such hits like Special, When I Grow Up, The Trick is to Keep Breathing. The group was nominated for Grammy as Album of the Year and Best Rock Album. In total the group has 7 Grammy nominations but they couldn’t win any. Garbage wrote a soundtrack for a James Bond movie “The World is Not Enough” which you can download in mp3 from our site. Generally speaking, Garbage are quite popular around the world as their sales count more then 14 million copies in different countries.
