Dutch Enlish-language death metal band Sinister was formed in Rotterdam, Netherlands in 1988. The current band’s line-up consists of Adrie Kloosterwaard (vocals, drums), Alex Paul (guitar, bas), Bas van den Bogaard (bass) and of Edwin van den Eeden (drums). The band split in 2004 but reformed in 2005. During their career they have released eight studio albums and the last album titled The Silent Howling got very positive reviews from the critics. The band is signed now to Massacre Records though most of their works were released under Nuclear Blast Records. Throughout its history they took part in many festivals like Wacken Open Air, Milwaukee Metalfest и Chech Dynamo.
