Richard Noel Marx, better known just as Richard Marx was born on September 16, 1963 in Chicago, Illinois, the United States. He is an American singer, songwriter and musician performing in pop rock genre. He achieved mainstream success at the end of 1980s - beginning of the 1990s. During that time, he released three multi-platinum consecutive albums – Richard Marx (1987), Repeat Offender (1989) and Rush Street (1991). His best-selling album to date is Repeat Offender. The album peaked at number 1 on the Billboard 200, number 8 on the UK Albums charts and number 9 in Germany. It yielded two hit singles number one - "Satisfied" and "Right Here Waiting".
