Busta Rhymes (birth name Trevor Tahiem Smith, Jr.) is an American rapper, songwriter and actor. He was born on May 20, 1972, in Brooklyn, New York, U.S. Chuck D of Public Enemy gave him the name Busta Rhymes (from former NFL wide receiver George "Buster" Rhymes). He broke out with a 1996 solo hit single, "Woo Hah!! Got You All in Check" from his platinum record album The Coming. In 2006, he released his most successful album, The Big Bang, which yielded seven singles, "Where's Your Money? (cancelled)", "Touch It", "I Love My Bitch", "New York Shit", "In the Ghetto", "Cocaina" and "Don't Get Carried Away".
