A Swedish hard rock band Europe was formed in 1979 in Upplands Väsby, Sweden. The group composes of Joey Tempest, John Norum, John Levén, Mic Michaeli and Ian Haugland. Europe got the popularity in 1986 with their hit single number one The Final Countdown which you can download in mp3 from our site. The group had a big commercial success in 80s and was one of the most popular rock acts of that time. They sold over 4 million copies in the US and more then 12 million records around the world. The group produced other popular singles like Carrie, Cherokee, Superstitious. In 1992 the group broke up and united again in 1999 for one concert and in 2003 they announced about their final reunion. The group works at their new material and they are going to release the album Last Look at Eden in September 2009.
