Anastacia, birth name Anastacia Lyn Newkirk is an American pop, rock, soul and R&B singer-songwriter born on September 17, 1968 in Chicago, Illinois, the United States. Anastacia reached the fame in Europe, Asia, Oceania, South Africa and South America. She rose to fame right after the release of her debut album Not That Kind.
