English electronic music duo Basement Jaxx comes from London, England and was formed in 1994. The duo composes of Simon Ratcliffe and of Felix Buxton. The duo plays mostly house music, they have released five albums, single compilation and they are known for making remixes for the songs of popular artists like Missy Elliott and Justin Timberlake. The band rose to fame in 1999 releasing their debut album Remedy which spawned a hit single Red Alert. The composition was included in the soundtrack for Bend Like Beckham movie and Coca-cola commercial. 2003 saw their third album Kish Kash. The album was supported by the hit singles Lucky Star, Good Luck è Plug It In. The album received Grammy Award for the Best Electronic/Dance Album.
