English rock and pop band All About Eve was formed in 1984 by Julianne Regan (vocals), Andy Cousin (bass guitar) and Tim Bricheno (guitar). Original band’s name was The Swarm but later it was changed. The band quickly began their music efforts and they evolved into series of independent singles like "D for Desire", "In the Clouds" and "Flowers In Our Hair". The singles caught an eye of the band The Mission and Regan was invited as back vocalist for their album God's Own Medicine. That was a real breakthrough as the band was noticed and signed by Phonogram Records. Drummer Mark Price joined the band afterwards. The band reached the chart success with their hit single Martha’s Harbour which was released as a support of their debut self-titled album. The album reached number 7 on the UK Albums chart.
