British band Morcheeba was formed in London in 1996. The band’s core members are brothers Godfreu – Paul (DJ) and Ross (multi-instrumentalist). Their music incorporates different elements from many genres like pop, rock, trip-hop, rhythm and blues and some others. The band’s vocalist was Skye Edwards for a long time, but the band fired her in 2003. Since then there hasn’t been a contemporary singer in the band. For example, the last album features several vocalists like Judie Tzuke, Thomas Dybdahl, Cool Calm Pete, and Manda. Judy Sternberg was on vocals after Edwards, but she was fires as well. The band has released six studio albums and the mainstream audience knows them for a single "Rome Wasn't Built in a Day". The release reached number 35 on the UK singles chart.
