Scooter are a German techno and eurodance band that was formed in 1993, in Hamburg, Germany. The group consists of H.P. Baxxter, Rick J. Jordan and Michael Simon. They are known for the experiments with hard dance genres like jumpstyle, and occasionally hip hop and house. The band also makes large use of sampling and creating covers of other artists from other musical genres. The band rose to fame with their singles, such as "Hyper Hyper" and "Move Your Ass", from their first album, ...And The Beat Goes On (1995).
