50. Pentagram is an American heavy-metal band coming from Arlington, Virginia, the United States and formed in 1971. The band was founded by Bobby Liebling and by Geof O’Keefe when they left their previous bands (Shades of Darknes and Space Meat, respectively). The new band was decided to call Pentagram but later they changed the moniker for Virgin Death, Macabre, and Wicked Angel, but eventually the band members returned to the initial name. The band underwent many lineup changes with Bobby Liebling being the only permanent member. During its career the band has released six studio albums. Their debut album was released only in 1985, in fourteen years since their first formation. During these years the band broke up two times and reformed again.
