Folk (1533)
Stille Volk is a French medieval music, Celtic music and folk metal band that was founded in 1994 by Yan Arexis, Patrick Lafforgue (vocals, wind instruments) and Patrice Roques (string instruments, choirs). In 1998, Yan Arexis left the band in offer to begin his solo career. They emerged on the European folk metal scene in the late 1990s with their debut album, Hantaoma, which was released through the Holy Records label. It also yielded the band's first singles such as "Hesta Dera Cagnolis", "Ode Aux Lointains Souverains", "Crepuscule Des Encantats", "Espirits Des Bois" and "Les Parques De La Lune". In 1998, they released their following record, Ex-uvies, which became the band's most famous album to date. It also spawned several singles, "Zoopathia", "Tinibrante Azurie", "Chimires" and "Selena Koronna".
