John Frusciante is an American alternative rock, experimental rock, funk rock and avant-garde singer, songwriter, and record producer. He was born on March 5, 1970. Since his childhood, he was dreaming about career in musical industry. As a teenager he learned to play guitar very hard. Later, he moved to Los Angeles and joined Red Hot Chili Peppers. He rose to fame as the guitarist of the alternative rock band Red Hot Chili Peppers. With this band he recorded five commercially-successful albums. But very soon, he decided to began a solo career. He formed his own record label, and released ten albums. Later, he signed to Ataxia Records and produced two albums. In 1997, he released one of his most successful solo albums, Smile from the Streets You Hold, which produced singles such as "I'm Always", "Nigger Song" and "Femininity".
