German band Megaherz comes from Munich, Germany. It was formed in 1993 by Alexander Wesselsky. The band’s founder left the group in 2002 due to growing music differences between him and the members. The current band’s members are Alexander "Lex" Wohnhaas (vocals), Christian "X-ti" Bystron (lead guitar, programming), Wenz "Wenz" Weninger (bass guitar), Jürgen "Bam Bam" Wiehler (drums) and Roland Vencelj (rhythm guitar). The band’s style is called Neue Deutsche Härte in Germany. This is a mix of industrial, crossover and grunge. Their music can be compared with other German bands like Rammstein and Oomph! The band has released seven studio albums. The debut album Herzwerk (demo) was released in 1995. The last released record with band’s founder Wesselsky is Herzwerk II (2002).
