American hard rock and heavy metal band Guns ‘N’Roses was formed in 1985 in Los Angeles, California, the United States. The band’s frontman, leader and the main creative force is Axl Rose. He is the only original member in the current line-up. The other members are Ron "Bumblefoot" Thal, DJ Ashba, Richard Fortus, Tommy Stinson, Frank Ferrer, Dizzy Reed and Chris Pitman. The band rose to the international fame in 1987 releasing their hit album Appetite for Destruction. The album was certified 18 x Platinum in the USA and Diamond in Canada. It yielded such hit singles like Welcome to the Jungle, Sweet Child o’Mine and Paradise City. The band continued releasing multi-platinum albums until 1993. During that time, they were smashing stores and charts. Their hit singles of that period are November Rain, Knockin’ on Heaven’s Door, Sympathy for the Devil and others.
