German band Oomph! comes from Wolfsburg, Germany. The band was formed in1989 by Dero Goi (vocals), Andreas Crap (lead guitar, keyboard), Robert Flux (guitar, programming), Hagen (bass guitar) and Leo (drums, percussion). The band’s line-up hasn’t changed since that time. The band is one of the most popular acts in German speaking countries. They perform in the style which is called Neue Deutsche Härte. The band’s music composes of different elements taken from such genres like metal, electronic, gothic, industrial and others. They influenced such famous groups like Rammstein, Megaherz and Eisbrecher. The band sang duet with Nina Hagen (Fieber), with L’Ame Immortelle (Brennende Liebe) and of course, they have their own hits like Augen Auf, Sex hat keine Macht, Gott ist ein Popstar and others.
