Brazilian metal band Soulfly from Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Brazil was formed in 1997 by ex-Sepultura frontman Max Cavalera. Cavalera left Sepultura in 1996 and formed a new band. The current members are Max Cavalera – vocals, guitar, Marc Rizzo – guitar, Bobby Burns – bass guitar and Joe Nunez – drums. The debut album self-titled album was released in 1998. The album features such musicians like Fred Durst and DJ Lethal (Limp Bizkit), Benji Webbe (Skindred) and some others. The album has become very popular and it was certified Gold in the United States. However, the most successful band’s album is their second LP titled Primitive.
