Lenny Kravitz (birth name Leonard Albert "Lenny" Kravitz) is an American rock, hard rock, funk rock, neo-psychedelia, pop rock, soul, R&B and blues-rock singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and record producer. He was born on May 26, 1964, in New York City, New York, USA. All of his albums have received certifications of gold or higher in the U.S., three of which have been declared multi-platinum.
