Angra is a metal band from Sao Paulo, Brazil. The band was formed in 1991. Their current members: Eduardo Falaschi (vocals), Rafael Bittencourt (guitars, backing vocals), Kiko Loureiro (guitars, backing vocals), Felipe Andreoli (bass guitar, backing vocals) and Ricardo Confessori (drums). Angra works in genres of power-metal, progressive and hard-rock. Their albums, DVD, EPs and singles were recorded by most popular labels in Brazil (Paradoxx Music, Steamhammer, Brigade Records, etc.). In 2001, the band released the fourth album, Rebirth. It is their best selling album. It has got 3 gold certifications in Japan, Germany and Brazil. Angra released about 8 singles such as "Carry On", "Make Believe", "Wishing Well". etc. In 2010, the band plans to release the new album.
