Celine Dion (birth name Céline Marie Claudette Dion) is the best selling Canadian artist of all time. She was born on March 30, 1968, in Charlemagne, Quebec, Canada. Dion grew up listening to the music of Aretha Franklin, Michael Jackson, Carole King, Anne Murray, Barbra Streisand and the Bee Gees, all of whom she would eventually collaborate with. Her music has been influenced by genres ranging from rock and R&B to gospel and classical.
