And English hard rock band Rainbow was formed in 1975 by Ritchie Blackmore (ex-Deep Purple). The original line-up consisted of former Elf members - Ronnie James Dio, Mickey Lee Soule, Craig Gruber, and Gary Driscoll. Since then the group was changing its line-up quite often. The group rose to fame after the release of their singles All Night Long (1980) and Since You Been Gone(1979). The group became so popular that they headlined the Monsters of Rock festival in 1980. The Rainbow arranged the Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony and it entered their album Difficult to Cure which you can download in mp3 from our site. The group disbanded in 1984 and reunited in 1993 for breaking up in 1997. That period was marked by releasing of a very successful album Stranger in Us All which allowed the group to make a world tour.
