Biography

Annie Lennox is a Scottish pop, rock and blue-eyed soul musician and recording artist. She was born on 25 December 1954, in Aberdeen, Scotland. She rose to fame in the early 1980s as a lead singer of new wave and pop rock band Eurythmics. She achieved mainstream success as a solo singer in 1992 with her debut album, Diva, which yielded the singles, "Why", "Walking on Broken Glass", "Precious", "Little Bird", "Keep Young and Beautiful" and "Cold". It also won Best British Album at the Brit Awards, in 1993. Diva became her best selling album to date. Now, you may download Annie Lennox's breakthrough album, Diva, in mp3 from our site. Her following album, Medusa, was released in 1995 and it debuted at number one on the UK album chart. It also has been certified platinum two times in both the UK and the US.
