Canadian singer Anne Murray, birth name Morna Anne Murray was born on June 20, 1945 in Springhill, Nova Scotia, Canada. She sings in such genres like country, pop and adult contemporary. She has become the first Canadian female solo artist to top the Billboard charts. She has become the first Canadian female international star. She has won several Grammy Awards: for Best Country Vocal Performance: "Love Song", Best Pop Vocal: "You Needed Me", Best Country Vocal Performance: "Could I Have This Dance" and for "A Little Good News". She has also won many other awards including Country Music Association, Juno Award, American Music Awards, and others. During her career, she topped the charts with the following singles: "Snowbird", "Danny's Song", "A Love Song", "He Thinks I Still Care", "You Needed Me", "I Just Fall in Love Again", "Shadows in the Moonlight", "Broken Hearted Me" and others.
