English electronic-rock duo Alpinestars was formed in Manchester, England in 1999. The duo consisted of Richard Woolgar and of Glyn Thomas. They met each other when their previous bands shared the same rehearsal space. Guys found out that they didn’t have too much common with their bands and decided to form their own band. July 2000 saw their debut album. The album was originally released under Faith and Hope Records but later it was re-issued by Guidance Records. The album got positive reviews from many music magazines. The next album White Noise was released in 2002. This album saw their collaboration with Brian Molko, a lead singer of the band Placebo. He provided his vocals for the track “Carbon Kid”. Since that time, the duo hasn’t produced anything. You can download the last album by Alpinestars in mp3 from our site.
